PE carrying bags with heat welded handles are a more sophisticated variation on the basic plastic sack.

In the place of a glued in or welded in double-layer handle reinforcement, these bags have a folded rim around the opening, which means the laminate material in the handle area is doubled and welded to itself horizontally along a line somewhat below the handle hole.
