How many pallets fit in a truck?
If you want to transport a large amount of goods from A to B, this is usually done on pallets by truck.
Of course, in order to work cost-efficiently, the sender is faced with the question of how many pallets you get into a truck.
To get this value out, you need the following information:
- Which pallets are used
- With which type of truck the pallets are transported

Pallet types
In Europe, mainly Euro pallets measuring 1200 x 800 mm are used. In plant and mechanical engineering industrial pallets are used. These have a dimension of 1200 x 1000 mm.
Truck types
In principle, a distinction is made between the following types:
- - Motor vehicles with and without trailers
- - Trucks with swap body
- - Semitrailer trucks
Depending on the type, the length of the loading area, therefore, the number of pallet spaces changes.
However, they all have one thing in common, the width of the cargo area of 2.45 m. This is optimized for Euro pallets and industrial pallets so you can place two pallets side by side to save space.
